We took a bunch of pumpkin pictures while at the Kaska Family Farm last weekend. I think we'll need to make a return trip to any patch for official pictures because my children were having entirely too much fun to pose nicely for their mama. Here Avery is still looking for the perfect one for her to sit on, but I had to snap while Sophie and Hudson were looking at me!

Hudson at one point asked, "can there be some pictures without a boy in them?" That was this one:

but Avery and Sophie look pretty!

Hudson informed me that "three and a half year olds can pick up pumpkins."

He's been working on this feat for a while! (pumpkin patch 2007- 22 months old!)

My pretty little baby girl, not a baby anymore but rapidly approaching her second birthday!

My big handsome boy.
I cannot help but reminisce over pumpkin pictures past when I see these.

This is Hudson and Sophie's first trip to the pumpkin patch- Hudson was 10 months old and Sophie was 15 1/2 months. He couldn't even totally stand on his own- he's propped against a pumpkin! That year I took a change of clothes for Hudson to take pictures in as well as his Halloween costume. (Can you say, "first-time-mom?!?")

I may not take as many pictures as I once did, or change clothes at events for the best picture options :) but I am every bit as crazy about this kid and his baby sister.
CRAZIER even, if at all possible.

Oct 2007- 22 months old and preparing to become a big brother just one month later!
click here to reminisce with me about our lovely pictures last year! Sweet babies. Oh my goodness, I'm so in love with them it hurts!! Here's a teaser!! :)

Avery 11 months- pumpkins 2008.
Wow, I can't believe I've been a mom this long! :) We are having such a nice fall. Much better than last year when we spent a big portion of it with stomach viruses, ear infections and random fevers... thankfully we got our flu over with in August and then Ronny and I got a stomach bug lat week but thank goodness the kids never got it. All in all, a good healthy fall! Hooray!! Keeping my fingers crossed! :) This is such a great time of year -- the countdown is on to Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then immediately Avery's birthday, then Hudson's, then Christmas- phew!

LOVE IT! :)
Seriously missing the H family!
And you can let Ronnie know that while mom and dad have been dragging their feet....my wonderful youth has been giving us whatfor about finding a church so she can get "surrounded". He's obviously doing something very right.
Those are the cutest, most adorable kids! Photos are great too! I love pumpkin patch photos -- they are so great. We do them every year. I think it's because the kids love the pumpkin patch sop the photos always show such joy, such a good time.
Kylie, Holly from BurbMom recommended your to me -- love your blog and photos. We've got a super fun event coming up and Holly suggested you'd be a perfect person. Do you mind emailing me so we can get in touch? To make it easy it's j pippert at g mail dot com.
