We began our Halloween fun on Thursday with a little party with our friends.
***********Major Disclaimer: The "big sister" t-shirt that Avery is wearing belongs to Sophie who is in fact a big sister. I am not trying to sneak in any big announcements. When the time comes for that announcement to be made, trust me, it will not be sneaky! HA! :) ************
Now, on with the Halloween party!!
We had such a good time with our long time friends-

in fact, when I told Hudson he could invite 4 friends to his 4th birthday party, he chose these 3 and another little girl from church. Hmmm, we're going to need to have more than 4 friends to include some
boys! Thankfully, all of these sweet girl- friends have little brothers!

We have to keep things even! Apparently though Avery and Everett do not fall into the big kid or baby category so we don't have costume pictures of them :).
We painted pumpkins

and painted icing onto gingerbread pumpkin cookies

and decorated with sprinkles!
Then we ate cookies!! (and lunch!)

We played and played and made a huge mess and had a great time!
Later I got some pictures of my kids in their costumes- Emily Elizabeth and her big, red dog Clifford:

I'm not sure what is up with their goofy smiles!
Clifford needed Emily so she chose him for her own. But the love made Clifford grow so big that the Howards had to leave their home. Clifford's the best friend anyone can know. He's the greatest dog ever. I really think so. Clifford's so loyal. He's there when you call. I LOVE Clifford, the Big- Red- Dog! (or Pippord, the red, red dog as Hudson used to call him!)
They were so very cute and sweet with each other. Ronny and I were out of town on the day of Halloween so my parents took them trick or treating a little. And that, is all of Halloween for us.
